The Medway 11 plus test is used by grammar schools in the Medway area of Kent. The six grammar schools that use the Medway Test are:

Our 11+ mock exam for both Kent & Medway starts: 9:30am during Easter and covers all 4 subjects English, Math, Verbal Reasoning, and Non-Verbal Reasoning. Here's a brief outline of what the mock exam will consist of:
English
- Comprehension: A short passage followed by questions testing your understanding, inference, and vocabulary.
- Grammar and Punctuation: Fill-in-the-blanks questions focusing on correct grammar, sentence structure, and punctuation.
- Writing: A short writing task, asking you to write a letter, story, or describe a picture.
Math
- Arithmetic: Questions on addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as fractions, decimals, and percentages.
- Word Problems: A few questions that require you to read and interpret word problems and apply mathematical reasoning.
- Reasoning: Questions on number patterns, sequences, and mathematical logic.
Verbal Reasoning
- Synonyms and Antonyms: Matching words with their synonyms or antonyms.
- Analogies: Completing analogies where you need to identify the relationship between word pairs.
- Odd One Out: A set of words, with one that doesn’t belong. You have to identify which one.
- Code Breaking: Decoding words based on a given pattern.
Non-Verbal Reasoning
- Shape Sequences: Identifying the next shape in a sequence or pattern.
- Odd One Out: Finding the shape that doesn’t match the others.
- Mirror Images: Recognizing a shape’s mirror image.
- Folded Shapes: Imagining how a flat shape will look when folded into a 3D object.
Parents are able to view the results and SAS rank of their child using their unique candidate number by the next working day.
