The Kent 11 plus test is used by grammar schools in Kent. This means that your child will only need to take the test once, regardless of how many grammar schools in Kent they're applying to.
In 2024 Kent council recorded 16446 children sat the Kent Test with only 29% (4792) success. This means in a competitive atmosphere the more practice, the better chance of a successful outcome.
Kent's top 5 Grammar schools based on attainment 8 scores of 2025 are:
1. Tonbridge Grammar School (Girls) 79.3
2= Dartford Grammar School (Boys) 78.4
2= The Judd School (Boys) 78.4
4. Dartford Grammar School (Girls) 75.3
5. The Skinners' School (Boys) 74.1
Our Kent 11+ mock exam starts: 9:30am.
Parents are able to view the results and SAS rank of their child using their unique candidate number within 3 working days.
This option is only for students with approved computer user time, which they will also use in the real 11 plus exam.
Students will be given the same test as the other children but will be allowed to use PC to write their answers.
Parents will be asked to provide medical or educational evidence for this option due to limitation on PC availability.
